Super Eagles midfielder Innocent Bonke is delighted to win another league title with Malmo FF of Sweden.
Malmo were held to a goalless draw at home to Halmstad but was still enough for them to be crowned champions.
The Jon Dahl Tomasson’s men retained their crown — courtesy of a better goal difference than rivals AIK.
Both sides ended the Swedish Allsvenskan campaign with 59 points, but Malmo won by just eight goal difference.
It was record 23rd title for Malmo and third for Bonke as he is part of the team that won in 2017, 2020 and 2021.
The midfielder took to his social media handle to celebrate the title.
“Champions of Sweden, We did it again. Glory be to God “. He posted on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Malmo will conclude their campaign now with a Champions League tie with Juventus in midweek.
