One Hundred and Eighty-Two minutes Alex Iwobi played in Arsenal’s FA Cup campaign this season, but was an unused substitute on Saturday when the Gunners shot down Chelsea in the Final.
The 20-year-old Nigeria International stayed back with the club rather than join Nigeria’s France camp as the three-time African champions prepare for the Afcon qualifier against South Africa.
The forward, whose place in the Arsenal setup next season remains doubtful, lived for the moment as he tweeted:
“Feels Great To End The Season On A High ⬆ Our Fans Were Unbelievable Today 👌🏾 Back To North London With The FA Cup 🏆🔴⚪ #COYG #BIG17.”

His fans joined in on the felicitations with messages of encouragement. One tweeted, “Next peppersoup is on me.”
