Nigeria’s quick exit from the 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was foreseen, but the Sand Eagles should be commended because they lost gallantly says former Player, Salisu Nakande.
With a win and two losses, the Sand Eagles were bundled out in the first round of the event.
However, the shoddy preparation and “lack of experience” in sand football were bigger factors to consider in Nigeria’s case according to Nakande.
He blamed the outcome of Nigeria’s campaign at the Bahamas 2017 beach soccer world cup on the team’s organisation.
