Following Nigeria’s successful campaign at the African beach volleyball qualifiers, Francisca Ikidia has appealed to the Federation for proper preparation ahead of the World Championships in July.

Ikidia charged the Nigerian girls to a world cup ticket in Maputo and expressed pleasure with the team’s display at the African qualifiers.

She hailed team chemistry but maintains Nigeria’s World Cup performance will depend a lot on how well they prepare.

Relating the pair’s rocky road to reaching Maputo, She hopes a different course will be adopted ahead of the journey to Austria.

The 2017 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships serves off on 28 July in Vienna, Austria.
