William Troost-Ekong was sent off in Bursaspor’s 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Galatasaray in a Super Lig match on Friday.
It was the William’s first sending off in Turkey and only the second in his pro career.
The 24-year-old was giving his marching orders early in the first half after only 38 minutes gone, with his team trailing 1-0.
Meanwhile, Shehu Abdullahi and Mikel Agu also suited up for the green Crocodiles and both played 90 minutes as the side suffered their 10th league defeat to table topping Galatasaray.
The defeat left Paul Le Guen’s men in 12 spot, but just 6 points above the relegation zone.
