Enyimba FC Forward, Abdulrahman Bashir says the players will themselves up and make the second-leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final vs Raja Casablanca in Morocco count.
The NPFL club suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at home against the Moroccans and now face a herculean task to overturn the deficit in the second-leg, but Bashir says their is real belief in the team, that it’s attainable.
A game of two halves, Enyimba were undone by poor defending in the second half as Abdelilah Hafidi struck home from close range three minutes after play restarted.
Speaking with Brila.net Bashir said Enyimba have not giving up hope of advancing to the final of the competition and are determined to take the fight to the 2003 champions in Casablanca.
The second-leg comes up on 24th October at the 67,000 capacity Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.
