Captain of Nigeria’s male volleyball team, Goodluck Odike has blamed the windy conditions in Maputo for the team’s shortcomings at the CAVB Nations Cup.
Odike and co could not power Nigeria to the 2017 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship in Austria later this year.
He said they never expected the weather working against the team but assured they’ll return to work harder on their techniques.
The female team will however represent the country in the world championship after picking ticket to the world event in Austria later this year.
