Chijioke Alaekwe dump FC IfeanyiUbah, joins Kano Pillars

Chijioke Alaekwe, former FC IfeanyiUbah striker and now ex-captain has completed a move from the Anambra Warriors to Kano Pillars ahead of the new season.

Chijioke has joined the club training session in Kaduna where the club is camping ahead of the CAF Champions League first round encounter with Asanti Kotoko of Ghana.

 

According to the spokesman of the club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa said the Chijioka alongside other newly recruited players includes; Abdullahi Musa, a defender from Wikki Tourists, Nasiru Sani, left fullback from Enyimba and Stone Samuel, an attacking Midfielder from Go Round FC are now in Kaduna.

 

Malikawa said the team will continue to remain in Kaduna til 5th August, 2019 before they return back to kano.

 

The Technical Adviser of the club, Ibrahim A. Musa said they are planning to organised some friendlies with local Football clubs in Kaduna in order to improve the fitness of the players.
