Nigerian forward Chuba Akpom from Greek club PAOK is attracting interest from English Championship sides Middlesbrough and Brentford.
Reports from England revealed the two clubs are ready to go head to head for the striker, who started his career at Arsenal.
Akpom has been impressive since moving to Greece, winning the Greek league title and also on the brink of helping PAOK reach the Champions League Group stage for the first time in their history.
Middlesbrough are reportedly interested in bringing the striker back to England, but Brentford interests mean the Teesside outfit are not in pole position for his signature.
PAOK sees the 24-year-old as an important member of the squad but they will only do business if they receive right offers.
Akpom who has scored 14 goals in 28 games across all competitions for the club is valued at £80million by the club, according to reports.
