Former Super Eagles striker Raphael Chukwu-Ndukwe has welcomed healthy competition among Nigerian strikers abroad stressing that the performance of the strikers in the top leagues in Europe this season will help solidify the national team of Nigeria.
Chukwu-Ndukwe speaking in a chat with brila.net said the performance by the players will see each of them getting better and that will certainly improve their game and the national team.
“It’s good that they are having this competition among themselves, actually if you’re a striker what you want to wake up and see is to see your name as headlines that you have scored or that you have a good assist but the competition is healthy for the national team.”
