Samuel Chukwueze’s stunning strike for Villarreal against Lech Poznan has been shortlisted for the UEFA Conference League goal of Group stage award.
The strike was among the best ten goals selected for the honor by the organizer of the Competition.
The Super Eagles star’s stunning left-footed volley leveled scores for Villarreal in their 4-3 win over the Polish side in September.
It was one of the two goals Chukwueze scored in the UECL group stage, with the second coming in a 5-0 win over Austria Vienna.
It is the first time the winger will be nominated for the UEFA club competition goal award.
Meanwhile, the player with the most vote from the fans will be announced as the winner.
