David Okereke scored his third goal of season, for struggling Cremonese against Salernitana on Saturday.
Okereke led the attack in the absence of compatriot Cyriel Dessers, who missed the game through injury.
The forward however ensured his team got a point from the game as he netted a fine equalizer, before leaving the pitch in the 76th minute.
He scored in the 12th minute, to cancel out Krzysztof Piatek’s third minute opener for the hosts.
The Nigerian thumped in a wonderful volley on a Frank Tsadjout knockdown that left the goalkeeper stranded.
Coulibaly restored Salernitana’s lead in the 38th minute as they maintained their lead going into half-time.
But, Cremonese got a penalty for Federico Fazio’s late challenge inside the box.
However, the Salernitana Goalkeeper saved Daniel Ciofani’s penalty kick, but it was retaken because the goalkeeper was adjudged to be off his line.
Ciofani, however, failed to beat the goalkeeper for the second time from the spot, but didn’t miss the rebound.
