Dennis gets poor rating as Watford return to Championship

Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis was given a poor rating following his uninspiring performance for Watford against Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park this Saturday.

The Super Eagles forward played the entire minutes in the match that was tagged biggest game of the season, but failed to make any meaningful impact.

Although the striker is Watford’s top scorer this season – he failed to rise to the occasion on day the Hornets needed a hero to save them from relegation.

Dennis failed to hit the target and his performance was rated 5/10.

Watford however lost by a goal and their return to the Championship was sealed.

Watford have now been relegated in consecutive top-flight campaigns for the first time since a run of three such seasons ending in relegation (1987-88, 1999-00 and 2006-07).

Meanwhile, and Dennis and Watford will be hoping to end the season with a win when host Everton in the Premier League season run-in.
