Super Eagles new boy, Cyriel Dessers says he’s delighted to be in the same squad with compatriot Paul Onuachu.
Dessers and Onuachu are currently on the book of Belgian side, RKC Gent, and were both on target for the club in their 2020-2021 league campaign against Zulte Waregem on Sunday.
Dessers who joined Gent this summer from Dutch side Heracles said he is enjoying his partnership with the lanky Onuachu and believed they will be unstoppable as the season progresses.
“Other teams will have to be good to stop us together, we both got a goal and the three points.” He said after the game.
“This was a good start, although we also realize that it is only the beginning, It must be even better, even stronger and We are complementary and can play together.
“He is so strong and sure when the opposition is already tired, We can certainly help each other,” he said.
Gent are currently third on the league standings with three points from a game so, they are behind Waslaad-Bereven and Beerschot because of inferior goal difference.
