Super Eagles players, Cyril Dessers and Paul Onuachu were on target for Genk in their win over Zulte Waregem on Sunday.
Dessers who has scored three goals in the pre-season kept his place led the attack for the Genk in the matchday one of the Belgium Jupiler League.
Zulte Waregem took the lead in the 41st minute, thanks to a fantastic finish from Belgian forward Deschachant.
Genk struggled to break down their hosts and coach Hannes Wolf decided to introduced another Nigerian PA Onuachu into the game earlier in the second half.
The Nigerian forward who recently recover from coronavirus grabbed the equalizer in the 73rd minute.
Genk got the deserved winner in the 79th minute, through Dessers who fired home from the penalty spot.
Meanwhile the third Nigerian on the book of Genk, Stephen Odey was not listed for the game.
