Cyriel Dessers said he will have to sit and discuss with new Genk boss before deciding his next move.
Dessers is heading back to the Limburgers, after a successful loan period at Feyenoord where he scored 21 goals in 42 appearances.
The Nigerian has offers from elsewhere and he’s willing to leave, if he’s not guaranteed playing time at Genk.
“That’s cordial. That is always the case at Genk – that speaks for the club. I have also already received a message from the new trainer (Wouter Vrancken).
“I haven’t spoken to him much yet, but his work is well known and speaks for itself,” The Player told to De Standaard about his future.
“I told my mom on the phone yesterday. As long as I’m there, I will always give 100 percent for Genk.
“That was also the case in the year that I sat on the bench. But now I feel something is moving. After my vacation I have to sit down with the trainer. We will then hear what the plans are.”
