Super Eagles goalkeepers should to cover up injuries to get picked for games in an era of stiff competition, Dosu Joseph has revealed.
Dosu, who won Olympic gold with the U23s at the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta, competed for shirt with the likes of Abiodun Baruwa, Emmanuel Babayaro and Willian Okpara.
In a chat with brila.net , Dosu refused to compare the quality of goalies in his generation and the current team.
But he disclosed that any of the top goalkeepers invited to the national team at the time would conceal injuries to stand a chance to wear the national colors.
Unfortunately, a promising career for the then 24-year-old was cut short following a ghastly car accident that hurt his spine.
