President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation Ahmadu Musa Kida has stated that the Nigeria senior men basketball national team D’Tigers will shock the world at the 2019 FIBA world cup in China.
Kida it was scooped by www.brila.net said this was the same optimism and template used last year for the women national team before going ahead to make a statement recording Africa’s best-ever finish at the world cup finishing in the quarter-final.
Kida said the intention is to take advantage of the interest from Nigerian professional players abroad to be part of the team so as to strengthen the team technically and personnel wise to be able to march any team in the world.
