Tyrone Ebuehi was on target for Empoli against Atalanta during their Friday’s Serie A game in Bergamo.

Ebuehi was starting his 16th league game for Empoli this season, while his compatriot Ademola Lookman was on the bench for Atalanta.

The home side controlled the game throughout the first half but it was Empoli who drew first blood, when the Nigerian RB scored.

It was his second goal of the season, the full back also has one assist to his name.

With Atalanta trailing, Coach Pierre Gasperini decided to introduce Ademola Lookman in the second half.

Atalanta were eventually rewarded with an equaliser after almost an hour, thanks to Marten de Roon headed goal.

Gasperini’s side would later find the winner just four minutes ffrom time, when Rasmus Hojlund latched onto a scrappy ball to poke it past Samuele Perisan.

The home side held onto their hard-fought lead and picked up all three points, leaving a Ebuehi and his teammates to head back to Tuscany empty-handed.
