Former Super Eagles Midfielder Wilson Oruma has filed a Defamation suit over the “false” news reporting that he was ill and bedridden.

In the court papers made available to FL, Oruma’s litigation claims that, Scammers used the “fake news” along with old pictures and videos to swindle his fans through crowd funding and donations.

 

 

The litigation insists the fraudulent acts wereinatigated and emboldened by the source of the news, and prays the court rules in his favor for a 1 billion in damages as well as a public apology from the Author and his Medium.

The former Olympique Marseille Player made a rebuttal video to debunk reports of any Illness.

In two separate suits, the accused were issued seven days to meet Wilson Oruma’s demands.

Oruma played the most part of his club career in France and also featured for Nigeria 19 times.
