First vice president, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi has expressed confidence in the ability of the players of the national team to do well as they get set to begin preparation for the forthcoming AFCON in Egypt.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play friendlies against Senegal and Zimbabwe ahead of the 2019 AFCON.
The Super Eagles will be competing in their 18th tournament in Egypt and have been drawn in Group B alongside Guinea, Burundi, and Madagascar.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Akinwunmi expressed his confidence in the Eagles doing well in the tournament, even as preparations are on track.
I have no doubt in their abilities, Nigerian footballers can play football once they set their minds to it.
