#ENDSARS: Odey dedicates first Amiens goal to victims of police brutality in Nigeria

Nigeria forward Stephen Odey says he’s excited to get his first goal for AS Amiens since joining the club in August.

Since making his debut for the club in August, Odey has been involved in five matches but failed to score in each of them.

The former FC Zurich striker however became the hero when he netted the winning goal against Grenoble on Saturday.

It was Amiens’ second win of the season in seven outings and Odey said he is delighted to help grind out the much-needed win.

“Very excited to score my first league goal  for this club and most importantly getting the +3 points.” He said.

The national U23 striker also dedicated the goal to victims of police brutality in Nigeria.

“This one is also for all the fallen soldiers 🕯 of the police brutality in Nigeria,” he said.
