Super Falcons of Nigeria defender Josephine Chukwunonye has stated that the Nigeria women national team are still a work in progress and that players have also continued to talk to themselves using preparatory matches to assess the team.
Chukwunonye said in a chat with www.brila.net that they are however determined to match Belgium for strength ahead of today’s last group game.
Chukwunonye said the team has also learned his lessons after almost losing the last match from a vantage position where they lost a 3 goals lead against Slovakia women who leveled up the tie at some point in the game before a Kate strike in the game restored Nigeria’s pride with a win.
