Festus Ezeli Predicts Western Conference title Race after Lakers vs Clippers Game

The 2019-20 NBA season got underway on Tuesday night and it was “Show Time” at the Staples Center when LA Clippers and city rivals LA Lakers clashed.

If it’s a sign of things to come in the Conference, then perhaps we’ll see power changing hands because The Klaw is in town.

Kawhi Leonard dropped a game high 30 points to lead Clippers to a 112-102 win over Lakers, who had LeBron James (18pts) and Anthony Davis (25pts) on the floor for a combined 47:21 minutes.

The game lived up to the hype and predictions of how competitive the Western Conference will be this season.

Portland Trailblazers Center Festus Ezeli tweeted his expectation of what to come in the West, in his commentary of the game.

Kawhi showed leadership on the floor in the 31:33 minutes, at the STAPLES and he held the crowd spell bound when he hit seven straight shots in one stretch, creating a run for the Clippers.

“It’s a great sign of leadership,” coach Doc Rivers said. “He talks with his game.”
