Stanley Eguma says he expects FUS Rabat will come to Port Harcourt with a game plan to “frustrate” Rivers United when the sides clash on Wednesday in a CAF Confederation Cup Group A match.

United lost their opening game of the campaign 3-1 to Club Africain in Radès, but the Coach insists no two North African teams are “generally” the same, and so, he’ll look beyond the experience in Tunisia when he draws up his game tactics.

The Nigerian representative are third on the table behind FUS Rabat and Club Africain; after both secured opening day wins.

Eguma said the team will “do our best to pick the three points at stake.”

“The two teams can never be the same. We know they’re all North African teams. We know their character, mentality and kind of football. We’ll put all that into consideration.

“But we’ll not rely on what we’ve seen in Tunisia. We’ll also need to study the FUS team, they are a different team, in a different game and different scenario.”

“They have little similarities, but generally the are different teams. We’ll have a different plan and tactics. Knowing fully well that they’ll be coming here to play a kind of frustrating  game, but we’ll do our best to pick the three points at stake.”
