Iheanacho gets cameo appearance as Leicester City ends winless run

Kelechi Iheanacho continues his bit part role at Leicester City as he featured for just five minutes against Leeds United on Thursday.

Iheanacho was introduced off the bench in the 85th minute, with the game all but won. He managed oy three touches on the ball and two passes.

Robin Koch’s own goal put the Foxes ahead before Harvey Barnes slotted home from a beautiful build-up play.

The Nigerian forward hasn’t started a game, since the 5-2 defeat to Brighton on September 2.

Meanwhile, his compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi is still out injured and no date return has been set.

The win is Leicester City’s second of the season and it was enough to lift them off the PL.
