Kelechi Iheanacho was named in Leicester City’s match day squad for the Europa league clash with Portuguese side Sporting Braga.
Iheanacho, 24, made Leicester City’s 24 man squad put together for the game by manager Brenda Rodgers and he’s expected to compete for starting belt.
He was the hero the last time Leicester City played European game at the King Power stadium, he assisted two goals and scored the in 3 – 0 win over Ukrainian side Zorya two weeks ago.
He was on the bench for the second group game away at AEK Athens , where first choice striker Jamie Vardy scored the winner.
Meanwhile, Iheanacho is running for Leicester City’s Goal of the Month award for October.
His goal in the 3-0 Europa League win against Ukrainian club Zorya Luhansk is among the seven goals shortlisted for the individual prize.
