Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman has been shortlisted for the Serie A POTM award for April.

Lookman emerged as a contender for the award, following his impressive contributions to Atalanta’s push for UCL football last month.

The winger, finds himself in esteemed company on the shortlist which includes Luis Alberto (Lazio), Albert Gudmundsson (Genoa), Paulo Dybala (AS Roma), Matteo Politano (Napoli), and Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter Milan).

Last month, the 26-year-old Nigerian winger notched one goal and three assists.

His impactful performances included crucial assists against Monza (twice) and Cagliari, along with a notable goal against Empoli in the recent weekend fixture.

In the current Serie A season, Lookman has been a key figure for Atalanta, scoring nine goals and providing six assists in 27 league appearances.

He also scored a vital goal that takes Atalanta to the final of Coppa Italia.

Currently occupying sixth position on the Serie A table, Atalanta continues to strive for success, with Lookman’s consistent performances serving as a beacon of hope for the team’s aspirations.
