Kelechi Iheanacho replaced Raheem Sterling in extra-time of Man City’s FA Cup semi-final match against Arsenal on Sunday and in doing so made a piece of English footballing history.
The substitution was City’s fourth of the game, making them the first team ever to do so.
The FA introduced a fourth substitute for the quarter finals, semi-finals and final, should they go to extra-time, for this year’s tournament.
