OH Leuven’s defender Sebatien Dawaest said Paul Onuachu is one of the best player in Belgium and enjoyed playing against the striker.
The defender got the better of Onuachu as he helped his Club record a 2-1 victory over KRC Genk on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old defender dominated Onuachu and limited him to just a single attempt on goal before he was substituted.
“I like these kind of duels,” he said after the game.
It wasn’t easy to play against him, because he’s big and strong on the ball. He’s good in the air too. So I’m happy we didn’t give him freedom that he wanted.
“Obviously I’ve known Onuachu for a long time, for me he’s one of the best players in this league. I’m surprised he hasn’t left yet.” he concluded.
Sory Kaba netted in the 1st and 93rd to win the game for Leuven. Mujaid Sadick scored what happened to be Genk’s consolation.
