Kasper Schmeichel showed new coach Brendan Rodgers and his teammates what he can do with his feet other than his hands.
The Denmark international may be a goalkeeper but he showed he has a trick or two up his sleeve, as he scored an outrageous goal in Leicester City training session, maybe something he picked up from his childhood idol, United talisman Eric Cantona.
Despite the fact that he’s followed in his father – Peter Schmeichel’s (Ex- man Utd goalkeeper) footsteps and taken up a position between the sticks, young Kasper admired one of his father’s attacking colleagues more than anyone else- United Eric Cantona.
Schmeichel in a video posted on Leicester’s official Twitter account showed the keeper flick the ball before lobbing it up and over with the side of his heel to execute a quite remarkable finish.
