Enyimba talisman Anayo Iwuala says playing in the National Team has improved him as a player.
Anayo was part of the Super Eagles team that played two friendly games against Cameroon in Austria, making appearances in both games.
He also played against the Benin Republic and Lesotho during the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
He has earned a total of four caps for Super Eagles in the last three months and the former Warri Wolves forward feels the experience has improved him as an individual and also a plus for his club Enyimba
“Honestly it was a great experience going to the national team, learning one or two things, and bringing it back to our local League.”
“It is an advantage for Enyimba also because I have to give one or two that I learned from the national team. It is a great privilege for myself and the team” he told reporters.
Iwuala who assisted two goals against Rangers last Thursday is expected to be in action for the Aba Elephants for their crunch tie against Nasarawa United this Sunday.
