English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Jose Mourinho as their new Manager, hours after announcing the sack of Mauricio Pochettino.
Mourinho agreed a deal until 2022/23 season the Club confirmed in a statement on Wednesday.
The former Chelsea Boss won three Premier League titles – with former Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi in his books.
In his first statement as Manager of Spurs the 56 year-old said, “I am excited to be joining a Club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters.
“The quality in both the squad and the academy excites me. Working with these players is what has attracted me.”
