Marcus Abraham joins Sanusi in Porto’s first team

Portuguese giants FC have promoted Abraham Marcus to the first team training ahead of the restart.

Marcus was asked to join the first team by Porto manager Sérgio Conceição, alongside Manuel Branco Teixeira.

The midfielder enjoyed great run of game time with the reserve team after joining from on loan from Portimonense, with an option to make his stay permanent.

The 22 year-old featured for the second team of Porto this season, and he has been given a chance to prove his worth in the Dragons’ first team when the campaign gets underway.

Porto started their training camp on Saturday, at Estádio Municipal Eng with Marcus Abraham, Manuel Branco and Teixeira (Chaves), among the players watched.

Should everything work as planned, Marcus Abraham will become the second Nigerian with Porto’s first team, joining full-back Zaidu Sanusi.
