Lobi Stars goalkeeper Femi Kayode got the perfect birthday gift on Tuesday following his side’s hard-fought draw in the CAF Champions League against Wydad Athletic Club in Rabat.
Kayode himself was between the sticks and made several sharp saves to shut out the hosts as the game ended 0-0, and it earned Lobi a point on the road plus a huge opportunity to get their Champions League campaign back on track after back to back defeats.
The day after his heroics Femi Kayode was celebrated by teammate Ebube Duru, who himself had a decent night in Rabat. Next up for the Nigerian side is a home game against ASEC Mimosa in Enugu.
