Enyimba forward Victor Mbaoma has rued been injured after he was ruled out of Enyimba’s first-round CAF champions league clash against Sudanese side Al-Mereikh next week courtesy of an injury he suffered back in the second leg of the previous round of the CAF champions league against Rahimo FC.
Mbaoma speaking in a chat with brila.net said he was distraught after been ruled out of the clash but has backed his teammates to get the job done in his absence when they face the Sudanese side next week.
“I’m not happy about it, it’s quite unfortunate but the most important thing is for us to win and I wish the team the best of luck. Sometimes it always happen like this but there is nothing we can do, it will be difficult for the team though but we have choices and as well trust the guys that they will get the job done.”
