Football agent Mino Raiola has died after an illness, his family has confirmed in a statement.

Raiola was admitted at Milan hospital for many months following his battle with illness and he passed on early Saturday.

During the week several outlets even in Italy reporters Raiola’s death but the claims were refuted by his family. But a statement was published, Saturday, on the Agent’s social media handle.

‘Mino fought until the end with the same strength he put on negotiation tables to defend our players.’ the statement reads.

Rainola represented players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mario Balotelli and Paul Pogba, Erling Haaland to mention a few.

He’s one of the most famous football agent in the world, born in Italy and moving to the Netherlands as a child.

He got into the sport first as a translator, before becoming a remarkable talent scout who could negotiate the best deals for his players.
