AS Monaco is keen on signing Gift Orban, and seems they are ahead in the race to land the young forward.

According to reports in France, Monaco have offered a higher sum than Tottenham Hotspur and talks is progressing with KAA Gent.

Meanwhile, Tottenham were ready to pay initial £27M but Monaco came up with an offer of £30 million plus add-ons.

The Premier League side could be forced to improve their offer as Orban would welcome a move to the Premier League.

Lille and Eintracht Frankfurt are other teams linked with the prolific forward.

Orban has 25 goals in 25 games since arriving Gent from Norway back in January.

His impressive goal record certainly adds to his appeal. It’ll be interesting to see how this transfer situation develops.
