Celta Baloncesto of Spain and Nigeria’s D’Tigress player Murjanatu Musa has stated that she is hopeful that the Nigeria women basketball national team can achieve even more after the team qualified in style for the 2022 FIBA women’s world cup in Australia after an impressive outing at the just concluded FIBA women’s world cup qualifiers in Belgrade, Serbia.
Musa speaking in a chat with brila.net said that the outing is a confidence booster for the team and hope that the girls are able to build on the outing for a greater impact and outing at the world cup proper.
She also added that achieving that will require more work because nothing good comes easy.
