Chief coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Nasarawa united FC Abubakar Arikya has stated that the Solid Miners hope to consolidate on the 2-1 win recorded in Wednesday’s outstanding league fixture against Enugu Rangers in Lafia.
Arikya speaking in a chat with brila.net revealed the team’s excitement after working so hard to achieve the run of three straight wins against Jigawa stars, Enyimba and Rangers which have suddenly changed the club’s fortune and this they hope to maintain in their strive to climb further up the table in the course of the league season.
“It is God that make it for us and we really worked for it, we’ve been battling there for a very long time and now that we play and we are out of that place we thank God.
“And that outstanding that we didn’t play against Rangers helped us seriously if not if we had played that time maybe we would have lost but now we thank God we’ve won the match and that has taken us out of relegation. We will try to make sure we maintain this form.”
