Barcelona superstar Neymar was involved in a training ground bust up with the club’s assistant manager Juan Carlos Unzue on Monday morning.
Unzue was said to have pointed out a few things to Neymar which led to tensions rising, to the point where other members of staff were forced to intervene.
The situation concluded with Neymar remaining unhappy. He and his entourage declined to discuss the training pitch antics afterwards.
This occurred after recent reports have claimed that Neymar is actually a huge fan of Unzue, and would like him to take over from Luis Enrique when the managerial position opens up in the summer – as would other players.
However, this isn’t the first time that Unzue has had confrontations with players.
His straight talking demeanour has apparently caused friction with the likes of Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Ivan Rakitic, which could have an affect on his likelihood of taking the Barcelona reigns.
