The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is making moves for PSV Eindhoven attacker Noni Madueke to represent them at international level.
Daily Mail reported that NFF are in contact with the 18-year-old in order to convince to cross to the west African nation.
Noni Madueke has played for England at the youth level, making appearances in both the U16s and U19s for his country of birth.
However the former Spurs forward is eligible to represent Nigeria, because of his parents root and the Nigerian FA could convince the teenager with a call up to Super Eagles.
Nigeria’s readiness to fast-track talent has proved a successful approach and helped them persuade former England youngsters including Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses to change who they represent at international level.
Since moving to Netherlands, Madueke has scored four times and assisted four other goals in just 11 appearances for PSV.
Madueke signed for PSV in June 2018 – rejecting Manchester United in the process – and impressed for their youth sides before making his senior debut last season.
