Nnadozie’s Penalty Heroics Inspires FC Paris Victory

Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie proved her mettle on big stage once again with a brilliant individual performance for FC Paris in UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The Nigerian showcased her exceptional skills, making a crucial penalty save and several outstanding stops, leading Paris FC to a 2-1 triumph over Real Madrid at Stade Robert-Bobin on Thursday.

Nnadozie’s heroic display earned the French side their first win in the Group phase of the tournament.

Early goals from Julie Dufour and Gaetane Thiney, gave FC Paris ideal start into the game.

However, Real Madrid were awarded a penalty in the 36th minute, but the 25-year-old denied Olga Carmona from six yards, preventing Real Madrid from narrowing the deficit in the first half.

It was her fourth penalty save in this season’s Champions League.

Despite Real Madrid pulling a goal back in the second half through Caroline Moller, Nnadozie and Paris FC held on to secure the historic victory.
