Kwara United forward Paul Samson says the Super Eagles are ready for the international friendly against Costa Rica.
Samson is one of 18 “home based” players selected by Coach Salisu Yusuf for Thursday’s clash in San Jose.
“I’m delighted to be part of the squad for such international outing. It’s a wonderful opportunity to represent our country and also show what we can do.”
The former Abia Warriors player also expressed his delight to be getting his maiden senior team call up.
“The was an amazing feeling, sometimes you wait for God’s Blessing but you don’t know the time it would happen, but you just keep working and praying.
“I’ve been doing that and getting the call up. I think it’s worth celebrating, this would motivates me to keep working hard,” He added.
Nigeria will lock horns with Costa Rica on November 10, in an international friendly in San Jose.
