Odion Ighalo has admitted that Al-Hilal labored to edge Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr in the derby of Riyadh, on Tuesday.
Ighalo scored twice as the struggling Champions defeated their rivals 2-0 at the King Fahd international Stadium.
The Nigerian international scored a penalty in each half to hand his side all three points, and ensured Al-Hilal stayed in touch distance with the league leaders, Al Ittihad.
“The most important thing is three points, because we had some bad games in the past,” He said after the game.

“So we knew the derby will be tough as well and I’m happy we won and took the three points.”
The former Manchester United forward is the current leading scorer in Saudi Pro League with 18 and 2 assists.
Ighalo, 33, has played 50 matches since joining Al Hilal from Al Shabab and has scored 47 goals and notching seven assists.
He won the Saudi Arabia Pro League title with the Club last season. He also helped Al-Hilal reached final of FIFA Club World Cup in 2021, after finishing fourth in 2021 edition.
