Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar has beaten his former teammate Mikel Obi to winning his first league title in China since the trio left the English Premier League club.

Oscar who plays alongside his Brazilian compatriot Hulk, clinched the league on Wednesday with Shanghai SIPG in the win over Beijing Renhe.

The club won the league with a game to spare as they finished wit 68 points from 29 matches ahead of second placed Guangzhou Evergrande.

So far, Oscar has contributed 12 goals to his club’s cause; 10 more than Mikel.

They pair are on two polar opposites in the Super League with Mikel’s Tianjin Teda battling relegation survival.

Both players were part of Chelsea’s Europa League winning team in 2012-13.
