Former Super Eagles striker, Patrick Pascal has cited one of the major reasons home based players sometimes fail to get invites into the national team by team manager Gernot Rohr is the inability of the federation to secure visas for them readily.

Last month’s friendly against Burkina Faso was called off due to the West African team finding it difficult to securing visas for their players to London.

Meanwhile some members of the Super Eagles team also found themselves unable to travel, including defenders Kingsley Madu of Belgian side Zulte Waregem, and Musa Mohammed, who plays with Zeljeznicar Sarajevo.

Patrick Pascal stated that most foreign based players already have visas on their passports making it easy for the coach to rely on them during games outside the continent.
