Quadri booked his place in the last 16 with a hard fought win over Alexis Lebrun of France.
The reigning African Champion beat the French teenager 3-2 at the Singapore Sports Hub’s OCBC Arena on Tuesday.
The 33 year-old came from behind to beat Lebrun 11-8, 11-8, 11-5, 11-7 and 11-7 in the deciding set.
Quadri has bad a record against his next opponents, Harimoto, losing twice against him, and he’ll be hoping to end the poor run when they clash on Thursday.
