Ramon Azeez bids farewell to UD Almería as he joins CD Lugo

Nigerian midfielder, Ramon Azeez has ended his six-year adventure with Spanish club, UD Almería penning a two-year deal with Segunda Division side CD Lugo.

Ramon joined UD Almería in 2011 as a 19-year-old after the FIFA U-20 World Cup and was registered with the B team.

The next season, he made his first senior appearance and went on to become a regular as the club gained promotion from the Segunda.

However, things went side ways for the player after their relegation and has since struggled to hold down a regular place in the team.

The 24-year-old, who represented Nigeria at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, bid farewell to Almería on Wednesday.

He post a message on instagram thanking the “Almeria people, from the President, Directors, Technical team.”
