Rangers Insurance reward scheme is an exhibition of the club’s level of professionalism – Ezeaku

Enugu Rangers Team manager Barrister Amobi Ezeaku has stated that the official presentation of the Cheque sum of twenty million naira to the family of the deceased Flying Antelope’s forward Ifeanyi George is an exhibition of the club’s top-level professionalism after the presentation ceremony which held yesterday in Enugu.

Ezeaku speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the process has further projected what is expected of a top club in the Nigeria Professional Football League and believes this will help win the trust and confidence of players that their welfare is key and call on other NPFL clubs to follow suit.
“The official presentation of the Insurance benefit Cheque to the estate of Ifeanyi George took place twenty million naira. It is significant to note that the jersey will not be in use next season jersey number 15.
It is also the first time that the Insurance scheme is been projected in Nigerian football terrain and that clubs should emulate this because this will actually give players the confidence to play with their mind and it enthrones professionalism and when professionalism is enthroned, commercialization comes to the fore front.”
